Hi, I'm Ron Penner. Lead Pastor at KMBC Hi! Welcome to the Pastor's Corner. Allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Ron Penner. I am the Lead Pastor at KMBC. My wife Fran and I are grateful for the clear call of God and this church to join the exciting journey that God would have for us from this corner of His world.

Fran & I come with a significant ministry history, as Lead Pastor in another setting, as well as being a missionary in Spain and in Mexico. Most recently, we were involved in the MBMS International office in Fresno, CA, where I served as Personnel Director, in charge of the recruitment and training of long-term missionaries for most of my time at MBMSI. When KMBC "found us" we were happily serving as Regional Directors of the Fresno MBMSI office. Fran & I enjoy eating out, traveling, visiting our grown children and taking care of our growing group of grandkids.

More importantly, we believe that God is alive here in Kingsburg and the surrounding community. We want to participate in what He is doing, and align ourselves as a church to the mission He has for us. In order for that to happen, we will be worshiping, discipling, and growing as a local church. We are open to new insights as He leads us, buiding on the wonderful history this church has in its past. We know that many have come to know Jesus here, and we are excited to see others find Him as Lord.

Hey there. My name is John and I am the Youth Pastor here at KMBC. My wife Katie and I have been serving here for the last three years and we are excited to see what God is doing among our youth. We have a strong desire to see lives changed and to see these changed lives go out and impact their world.

We are a small church with a strong emphasis on family and we want our ministry to reflect that. We realize that the greatest influence in a kid's life are his parents. We strive to be a resource for parents to build up the family that God has established. We have a Parental Advisory Board that helps us keep a healthy balance in our ministry, and lets us know when we are doing too much. Thanks Team.

We believe in inter-generational ministry and we have various events throughout the year where you will see both young and old working together. We have one service on Sunday morning and we worship together because we believe this helps build relationships between generations.

We have a culturally diverse ministry here at our church. We work closely with our hispanic/latino brothers and sisters and combine some of our ministries together. On Sunday morinings Agua Viva has their Sunday School time the same as ours and the youth join us as we study the Bible. Agua Viva has helped us in many ways with outreach and missions. Thank You Agua Viva.

If you have more questions about Katie and I or our ministry here at KMBC, feel free to contact us any time.

Well I know that you are curious about my picture. One of the kids thought I needed a nose job. This is what I ended up with.

God Bless,

John Hawkins, Youth Pastor
